The freshness of a new year inspires most everyone to take a long look at their life: past, present, and future. It’s something about the shocking realization that yet another 365 days have gone by–again. The ball falling from the sky in New York City always seems to mock you, as if it’s saying: What did you accomplish this year?
If the New Year’s Ball seems to mock you every year, rather than congratulate you for a year well-spent, then I’ve got a suggestion: do something about it. I’m Melanie Fine, and I’ll show you how.
If the scenario above was anything close to how you felt ringing in the New Year, then I want you to pay close attention to me for the next few minutes.
Achieving everything you’ve ever wanted in life does not have to be overwhelming. In fact, it shouldn’t take you more than 60 minutes every day.
No, I’m not kidding. Achieving everything you want in life should take no more than 60 minutes a day.
Before I explain to you exactly what I mean–and I will, very soon–I want to explain to you where I was about a year ago…
My name is Melanie Fine, and I was a goal-setting junkie. At the end of 2010, I had spent nearly $20,000 on books, seminars, conferences, and systems… from the latest and "greatest" gurus, experts, and psychologists to the older theorists from nearly thirty years ago.
Given that tidbit, you’d think that I’m the most productive, organized, and accomplished woman on the planet, right? Some sort of Brian Tracy – Franklin Covey hybrid billionairess, just because of how many goal-setting theories, techniques, and systems are all stuffed into my noggin.
At the time, even though I’d spent years (and half a college tuition) studying goal-setting, productivity, time management, and self-improvement, I was no different from the year before… or the year before that…
Me! The goal-setting, productivity savant was the one being mocked by a giant ball falling from the sky.
But really, two years ago, when the ball fell to ring in 2011… the realization hit me hard. Months of time, wasted, flashed before my eyes in the final 10 seconds of the year.
I wanted to scream! I wanted to scream for the ball to stop and give me a magical do-over of 2010. I wanted to shake myself and demand to know what I was doing wrong.
As everyone around me celebrated with champagne and noise-makers, I sat, deep in thought for the next half hour.
I realized there is a huge difference between learning about productivity theories and time management systems… and actually putting those theories and systems into practice.
So, right after that mean, sarcastic, and epiphany-inspiring ball dropped from the sky, I got to work.
I spent an entire week, from sun-up to sun-down, scouring my notes, books, and video archives for all of the best goal-setting theory ever created.
Remember, the problem with most of the gurus’ wisdom out there is that it’s all about goal-setting… not goal-ACHIEVING. I wanted to be a goal-ACHIEVER. And in order to do that, I wanted a blueprint. I wanted a program. I wanted a fool-proof system of steps and blanks I could fill in with my goals and then pull out viable action steps from there. I wanted an organized daily planner that would tell me exactly what to do next to achieve all the goals I had for the year. This was the beginning of my 2011. (Really, it was the beginning of a whole new me.) I spent the rest of the year fine-tuning, returning to my archives, adding, subtracting, and finaly concentrating everything down into one system with one tool.
The 7-Step Success Action Plan for Finally Achieving All of Your Goals is an ACTION-packed plan for getting where you need to be quickly and simply.
Though it may have a long name, the 7-Step Success Action Plan is the foolproof, step-by-step blueprint that came from my $20,000-worth of goal-setting archives.
But the amazing thing about this plan is that there’s no fluff. There is only enough theory to make sure you understand why you’re doing what you’re doing.
Let’s keep in mind Mr. Mocking New Year’s Ball, though, shall we? If you knew you had to do that, you would have already done it.
The fact that you’re still reading tells me that some part of you knows you need a hard-and-fast action-packed system.
When combined, the 7-Step Success Action Plan and the Daily Planner make up the most concentrated, action-packed system the goal-achieving world has ever seen.
